with all this talk about flip flops, I noticed mine were worn out. So I went to the local wal-mart and purchased me a new pair.
We are now in an age where a candidate can't change their mind. What if they were on the wrong side of the issue to begin with?
Funny thing flip-flops are. McCain wanted Bush to veto the new G.I. Bill and now he says he was for it. He gets called out for his lousy Veteren voting record and he says the person is wrong even thought the guy has stacks of papers with McCain's voting record printed on them. Oh the comedy never seems to end.
John McCain's idea of Pork projects include Social Security, Medicare and Medicade, Unemployment benefits and the School Lunch program. Oh yeah the U.S. will be better without those programs won't we? The Republicans have tried to do away with those programs for decades. Especially Social Security. They tried to get that declared unconstitutional when FDR signed it to law back during the waning days of the depression when the New Deal was enacted.
Now George Bush is trying to enact a 'legacy'. A 'legacy' of what? An Illegal war that has made us less safe? A failed policy that that still has the man resonsible for the worse castastrophe in American history STILL AT LARGE? Gas at $4 a gallon? An economy that is starting to rival the GREAT DEPRESSION? War crimes? Trying to destroy the American Constitution and the Bill of Rights? What a "legacy".
